Vinyl Jockeys was founded by Chivrak f/k/a DJ Matthew James in 2001. We originally started out in the electronic scene promoting clubs and underground events in Southern California. Since then we have gone through many changes to get to where we are today. Today we are promoters of all artists in all genres. By the end of 2010 we plan to have a fully operational, commercial recording studio with a focus on DJs and Electronic music, based just outside of NYC. There are some studio SERVICES currently available.

This part of the website is intended as a place where artist can display their talents for music enthusiasts maybe even record labels and management companies to listen to, not download. At some point in the future we may provide a non-profit service for artists to sell their music through us, but not at this time.

The VJ FORUM is the main platform we provide for artists to promote themselves. In addition to our boards we have provided over 100 links to other messages boards in each category for you to go and give yourself or your favorite artist a shout out. The forums also have information on trademarks, copywrights and music industry related legal contracts.
